    Season

Dubrovnik is a walled medieval city on the Adriatic where the setting does half the work. Three hours from Stockholm, compact enough to walk, and with islands and vineyards within reach for the days the group needs to get out. We handle flights, hotels, venues and programme.

Why Dubrovnik works for conferences

Dubrovnik is one of the few destinations where the location alone justifies the trip internally. A walled city on the Adriatic, compact enough that the whole group moves on foot, with the sea on every side. Three hours from Stockholm and a season that runs from May into October. The trade-off is capacity – there are only so many beds, and the cruise ships fill the old town in the middle of the day. Both are solvable with planning, which is the part we handle.

Stay & venues

Hotels and meeting venues in Dubrovnik

The old town itself has almost no hotel capacity, so groups stay just outside it – which works, because the walk in along the water is part of the appeal. Valamar Lacroma on the Babin Kuk peninsula is the one built for volume, with a proper conference centre and enough rooms to take a whole group. Hotel Excelsior sits directly across the bay with the old town in the window, the choice when the trip needs to impress. Rixos Premium is the newer alternative between the two. Book early: Dubrovnik has limited beds and fills up months out.

Activities

Activities and dinners in Dubrovnik

Sea kayaking below the city walls is the one that sells the destination – two hours paddling around the fortifications with a swim stop, and it suits a mixed group because nobody needs to be fit for it. Walking the walls themselves takes about ninety minutes and is best early before the heat and the cruise passengers. A boat out to the Elafiti islands makes a full day with lunch on the water. For wine, the Peljesac peninsula is an hour up the coast and produces reds most guests have never encountered.
